First Moscow Watch Factory (1MChZ) — Kirovskie Watches

The First Moscow Watch Factory (1MChZ, "1 МЧЗ im. Kirov") was founded in 1930 and became one of the most famous Soviet watchmakers. Known for producing Poljot, Sturmanskie, and Pobeda watches, the factory made reliable mechanical wristwatches and aviation watches, including the watch worn by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Vintage Kirovskie logos and marks are iconic among collectors and watch enthusiasts.
