This Vostok reference 063xxx is a men's mechanical Soviet wristwatch from the 1980s, made by the Chistopol Watch Factory and powered by the hand-wound caliber 2414A. It has been serviced and is offered as an all-original example, ready for a collector who appreciates honest USSR-era design.

The Look

The watch has a warm gold dial that works beautifully with the gold-plated oval case, giving it a dressier character than many utilitarian Soviet pieces of the same period. Arabic numerals keep the layout clear and practical, while the dial inscriptions read Wostok, 17 jewels, and Made in USSR. The blued hour and minute hands add a cool flash of color against the gold surface, with a black seconds hand providing a crisp central contrast. The acrylic crystal suits the period and helps preserve the soft vintage profile of the watch.

Inside the Case

Inside is Vostok's mechanical caliber 2414A, a 17-jewel Soviet movement with a date function and balance shock protection. It is a straightforward, serviceable hand-wound caliber from the Chistopol Watch Factory, well matched to daily vintage use when handled with proper care.

Condition and Service

The dial is in good condition, described as practically without signs of use, which is a real strength on a gold-dial Soviet watch where marks can be very easy to spot. The acrylic crystal is also in good condition. The gold-plated case shows small signs of use, consistent with a vintage watch that has been worn and preserved rather than over-restored.

The stainless steel screw-down caseback has no deep scratches. The watch is all original and was serviced on July 19, 2026, with full disassembly, cleaning, washing, reassembly, and lubrication carried out.

Why This One Is Interesting

This Vostok brings together several collector-friendly details: a large 40 mm oval gold-plated case, a clean gold dial with Arabic numerals, the Soviet-made caliber 2414A with date, and original USSR dial text rendered in a refined dress-watch layout. It has the presence to wear confidently, while still staying firmly rooted in Chistopol production of the 1980s.
