This Raketa Biker is a men's Soviet mechanical wristwatch from the Petrodvorets Watch Factory, fitted with the 19-jewel caliber 2628.H and dating to around the late 1970s into the 1980s period. It has been serviced, regulated, and is ready for regular vintage wear.

The Look

The dial is the feature that gives this Raketa its character: a deep blue face with applied hour markers, steel hands, and white hand inserts that read clearly against the darker background. The central seconds hand is also steel, keeping the layout clean and purposeful. The dial carries the Raketa logo and the English-rendered inscription “Made in USSR,” exactly the kind of detail collectors look for on an original Soviet piece. An acrylic crystal sits above the dial, giving the watch the warmer vintage look that suits its cushion-shaped case.

Inside the Case

Inside is Raketa’s mechanical caliber 2628.H, a practical Soviet movement with central seconds and a day-date display. It is a robust, serviceable movement from one of the best-known USSR watch factories, and this example has been fully cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted.

Condition and Service

The case is in good vintage condition, with small scratches consistent with age and no heavy wear-through or deep scratches noted. The snap caseback is also good, showing only light signs of time. On the wrist, the 36 mm cushion case wears neatly and has the slightly broader visual presence that this case shape often gives, while still keeping a comfortable vintage profile at 10 mm thick.

The blue dial shows age and patina, which gives the watch an honest, collected character rather than a restored look. The watch is described as all original. Service was completed on 29.06.2026 and included full disassembly, cleaning, ultrasonic washing, lubrication, and timekeeping adjustment.

Why This One Is Interesting

This Raketa brings together several traits collectors appreciate: the blue applied-marker dial, the Raketa 2628.H day-date movement, the cushion chrome case, and its original Soviet factory identity. It is an attractive daily-wear size, already serviced, and carries visible vintage character without losing the clean, wearable look that makes these Petrodvorets pieces so appealing.
